This is a two-day basic course on US patent and litigation, specifically designed for companies with the goal of building teams that specialize in IP operations. After the course, the teams should be able to independently research and analyze patents, such as determining whether there's an infringement, or defining the scope of protection. It also covers understanding the methods, procedures, timelines, probabilities, and costs of complaints, lawsuits, and responses in the United States.
